Afternoon Tea at Pooh Corner

For the first time in its 40 year history, Pooh Corner is delighted to be offering limited Afternoon Tea bookings in the E.H. Shepard Room.

Join us for an afternoon tea with someone special, celebrate a special occasion together or simply catch up over some delicious 'smackerals' as part of our traditional afternoon tea offering.

Each afternoon tea will contain delicate finger sandwiches with savoury fillings, scones served with clotted cream and jam or honey, and of course some sweet treats will ensure we satisfy even the hungriest of guests.

So join us for this tasty, relaxed 90 minute experience in the fun and friendly surroundings of Pooh Corner.

Seatings are available at 12:00 and 2:00 and are available from Tuesday to Friday.

Please be aware that we are unable to take afternoon tea bookings at the weekend due to the busy tourism nature of Pooh Corner.

Please be aware that we are unable to take afternoon tea bookings at the weekend due to the busy tourism nature of Pooh Corner. We will also not be taking afternoon tea bookings in the Christmas holidays, due to the busy holiday season we have here at Pooh Corner. Our last day for afternoon tea before the Christmas break is Friday 15th December. We will resume taking afternoon teas from Tuesday 16th January.

The Small Print:

• This service is not available at School Holidays or other peak periods due to the nature of the location.
• Due to the tourism nature of Pooh Corner we do run a strict 90 minute table policy.
• A £5 deposit (per person) will be required to be taken in order to confirm the booking, if you do not pay the deposit you will not be served afternoon tea.
• Maximum bookings 4 people.
• Due to the nature of Pooh Corner, we currently require 48 hours notice of all afternoon tea bookings.
• A booking can be transferred to another date if arranged 48 hours before the date of visiting.
• Cancellations within 48 hours of visiting will result in deposit being lost.
